Nance L. Schick is a seasoned employment lawyer and mediator based in New York City. In her practice, she specializes in resolving workplace disputes before they escalate to court.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in education (Sport Administration) from the University of Louisville and a Juris Doctor from the State University of New York University at Buffalo, where she also earned certificates in Government Law.

At UPS, she received world-class management training, and it sparked her interest in employment law. Before law school, she also worked in the front offices of three minor league professional sports franchises, which taught her that even the elite share common human needs.

Her negotiation skills have proven invaluable in resolving complex workplace conflicts across various sectors, and she frequently provides expertise to journalists on topics such as conflict resolution, workplace disputes, independent contractors, mediation, domestic employment, and polyvictimization.

Nance has been highlighted in \”Essentials of Victimology\” and \”Never Underestimate the Strength of Women\” and recognized by organizations such as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the New York Economic Development Corporation/B-Labs, and the Kaufmann Foundation.
